This policy explains what data ForceLab collects, what it uses it for, who it shares it with, and how you can export or delete it. It is written to be understood without a lawyer.
The data controller is Jorge Guazzini, developer of ForceLab, based in Chile. For any privacy matter — access, correction, deletion, or a complaint — write to soporte@forcelabcenter.cl. We answer that address; you do not need the app installed to reach us.
Account data: email address and password (stored hashed, never in plain text), display name, and a profile photo if you choose to upload one.
Profile data: date of birth, biological sex, height, weight, goal, activity level, and training experience. We use these to compute your targets and ranks.
Training data: sessions, exercises, sets, reps, loads, notes you write, personal records, and your Podium standing.
Nutrition data: logged meals, calories and macronutrients, micronutrients, caffeine, hydration, meal plans, recipes, and your frequent-foods history.
Body and wellness data: bodyweight over time, measurements, estimated body fat, and your daily energy, sleep, and mood check-in.
Supplementation: the supplements you declare and the recommendations generated for you.
Subscription: if you buy PRO we store that your plan is active and until when, plus the identifier the payment gateway returns. Your card details go straight to whoever processes the charge — Apple if you buy in the iPhone or iPad app, Mercado Pago if you buy on the web: we never see or store them.
Technical data: app version, device model and operating system, push notification identifier, and crash reports.
Country and city: you pick them from a catalog so we can place you on the Podium. ForceLab does not access your phone GPS and does not collect precise location.
To run the app: show your progress and compute nutrition targets, ranks, records, and your Podium placement.
To generate your personalized training, nutrition, and supplementation analysis and recommendations.
To send notifications you turned on: reminders, quests, weekly summary. You can switch them off by category in Settings.
To answer your support messages and track a report by its code.
To detect and fix failures, through crash reports.
We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and run no advertising inside ForceLab.
ForceLab requests these permissions only for features you start yourself, and you can deny them without losing the rest of the app.
Camera: to scan a product barcode, photograph a meal so we can estimate its macros, read a supplement label or a cardio machine screen, and take your profile or progress photos.
Photos: to pick an existing image of your meal, a label, a cardio screen, or your profile or progress picture.
Microphone: only while you dictate — a meal, or an exercise with its sets. The audio is processed to extract what you said and is not kept afterwards.
What happens to each photo: your meal photo, a label and a cardio machine screen are sent to our analysis provider to recognize what is in them; the meal photo is also kept in private storage, so you can review later what you logged.
Your profile photo is kept in publicly readable storage, because other people see it on the Podium, and before it is published it is sent to our analysis provider to automatically review that it has no offensive content. If you would rather not send it, use one of the in-app avatars: nothing is sent.
Your body progress photos are kept in a private folder only your account can reach. They are sent to our analysis provider ONLY when you ask for your progress analysis, and only the most recent one per pose; if you never ask, they never leave.
All of them are deleted when you delete the photo or when you delete your account.
Several features run on Google artificial intelligence models (Gemini), which we call from our own servers: your training analysis, the food scanner by photo or audio, reading a supplement label and a cardio machine screen, logging sets by text or dictation, the coach chat, the routine, program and meal plan generators, supplementation advice, your body progress analysis, and the automatic review of the profile photo you upload.
What is sent: only the content needed to resolve your request — that photo or audio, your recent sets, your measurements, your logged diet, your training profile or your message. The progress analysis also sends your body photos, and the profile photo review sends that photo. We never send your password or your email address.
What does not happen: your data is not used to train third-party models. Google processes it as our processor, under protections equivalent to those declared in this policy.
Your permission: the first time you use one of these features we show you what is sent and to whom, and nothing is sent until you accept. You can withdraw permission anytime in Settings › Privacy › Smart engine; once withdrawn we stop sending your data and the rest of ForceLab keeps working the same.
What the engine returns are estimates and suggestions. They can be wrong, and they do not replace a professional judgment. If you receive an incorrect or offensive response, report it from Settings › About › Contact support, or write to soporte@forcelabcenter.cl.
We work with these providers, each in a narrow role:
Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Holds your account and full history.
Google (Gemini) — processes the intelligent engine requests described above.
Sentry — receives crash reports so we can fix them. Configured not to send personally identifiable data.
Resend — sends transactional email, such as the confirmation of a support report.
Expo — delivers push notifications to your device.
Vercel — hosts the public website.
Open Food Facts — we query their public database when you scan a barcode. The product code is sent, not your data.
Mercado Pago — processes the subscription payment when you buy it on the web version. If you buy it in the iPhone or iPad app, Apple processes the payment and Mercado Pago is not involved. Either way the payment details go straight to them (or to Apple); we neither see nor store them, only whether your subscription is active and until when.
We may also disclose information where a competent authority legally requires it.
When you accept a coach invitation inside ForceLab, that person can see your training, nutrition, and progress data, and the notes you write, in order to advise you. It is your decision and you can reverse it: once you leave their team, their access ends. Your coach never sees your password.
While your account exists we keep your history — that is precisely the value of the app, being able to compare this year against the last.
When you delete your account, we erase your data from our active database within 30 days, and it disappears from our backups within the following 90 days.
Crash reports are deleted automatically after 90 days.
You can access and download your data as a structured file from Settings; correct it by editing your profile and records; delete your account and all its content whenever you want; and opt out of notifications by switching them off per category.
If you prefer to exercise any of these rights in writing, email soporte@forcelabcenter.cl and we will respond within 30 days.
From the app: Settings › Delete account. We ask you to confirm by typing a word, and the deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Without the app installed: go to https://forcelabcenter.cl/eliminar-cuenta and follow the instructions, or write to soporte@forcelabcenter.cl from the address you signed up with.
Everything is removed: your training and nutrition history, your profile, your photos, and your Podium standing.
Traffic travels encrypted. Database access is restricted row by row, so any query can only return rows belonging to their owner. Passwords are stored hashed and nobody on the team can read them. You can add biometric lock to the app from Settings. No system is infallible: should a breach affect you, we will tell you.
ForceLab is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we detect an account that breaks this, we remove it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child created an account, write to soporte@forcelabcenter.cl and we will close it.
ForceLab operates from Chile, and our providers process and store information on servers located outside the country, mainly in the United States and the European Union. By using the app you accept that transfer, governed by each provider's contractual clauses.
If we change this policy we update the date in the header and, when the change is material, we notify you inside the app before it takes effect. The current version always lives at https://forcelabcenter.cl/privacidad.
Write to soporte@forcelabcenter.cl. It is the official channel for privacy questions, data requests, and complaints, and we answer it even if you no longer use ForceLab.
